LOCAL COMPANY SUPPORTS WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS OF NUKU CENTRAL

OLARS LIMITED, a local company in Nuku District of West Sepik Province is proudly supporting Widows and Widowers in Ward 3 of Nuku Central LLG since its establishment in 2013.
The company gives away in a form of Charity basic food and laundry items like rice, tinned fish, oil, sugar, coffee, salt, flour and laundry detergents as part of its community obligation, according to the company management.
A staff member, Napthalie Bokorum speaking on behalf of the company said, they pack the items and send them to the widows and widowers at the end of every month.
“The company currently supports 26 widows and 8 widowers, in Ward 3, of Nuku Central LLG” he said.
Jonathan Nembesingla, a son of a widow said, “This intiative by the company’s managing director (Mr TADI MASI) and his wife (Mrs Jillian Masi) gave a relief to us as children of widows who were struggling to support our mother, and I know it is the same for others as well.”
“This is a first of its kind that I have seen in West Sepik were a local company out of its own initiative decided to support widows and widowers and I for one really appreciate the support,” Nembesingla said.
“I’d like to thank Olars Limited for always supporting the widows and widowers despite their hectic schedules,” he said.
Olars Limited Management said it is happy to help as part of its founding doctrine is believed in the importance of building families and communities on God’s work and wisdom.
