TELIKOM Limited Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer reappointed by the National Executive Council to serve another three-year term in office were sworn into office today at Telikom.

The Board of Directors with Chairman Cedric Rondoke, Deputy Chairman Paul Morgan and directors Lata Milne, Godfrey Seeto, Gedion Karali and Naime O’ome were reappointed with the new addition to the board being Mrs. Janet Sios.

Amos Tepi, the Chief Executive Officer, was also reappointed to office to serve his second three-year term as Telikom CEO.

Magistrate Sandy Tiankin presided over the swearing-in ceremony witnessed by the company secretary, Mark Puri, the executive management team, heads of subsidiary businesses and the media were present to witness the occasion.

“The next three years will be a little different to what has been happening. We have a corporate plan, a master plan and a few things this board has been working on and some of these plans will come to fruition in this next three years,” Mr. Rondoke remarked.

Chairman Rondoke congratulated Mr. Tepi on his appointed as CEO for another term of three years. He reiterated on his message from when he and Mr. Tepi officiated at the re-opening of the refurbished Jackson’s international airport Telikom kiosk, calling on Telikom customers to stick to the national telco – Telikom, as there are some projects or program that will come online, and that includes to the branding rollout for new-look Telikom.

“A few days ago, Telikom launched the Wantok e-SIM app to stay connected when family and friends when traveling overseas. This covers 150 countries.” Chairman Rondoke announced.

In congratulating the Chairman and directors for their reappointment and welcoming Mrs. Sios to the board, Mr. Tepi thanked the Marape-Rosso government and the SOE Minister Hon. William Duma for the trust and mandate to reappoint the existing Board of Directors for him to work with along with his reappointment to the office of Telikom Limited Group CEO.
