For many years, the Catholic Church has provided services to Papua New Guinea through education, healthcare, and social programs that support vulnerable populations.

“The five pillars present both challenge and opportunity, calling us to strengthen our skills, embrace innovation and build a culture of responsible, ethical and spirit-led communication,” Sister Daisy said.

She emphasised that communication is not merely the act of sharing information, but it must be transcribed to action aimed at transforming lives especially those of the vulnerable people.

“Social communication is not merely using modern tools- radio, television, digital platforms or print media but about proclaiming gospel with clarity, clarity, compassion and courage. Pope Francis reminds us that communication must always be at the service of truth and dignity of every person” Bishop Rozynski said
