REAPPOINTED CLRC COMMISSIONERS SWORN IN YESTERDAY

Ms Martha Kokiva & Ps Jack Urame, have been reappointed as Commissioners of the Constitutional & Law Reform Committee (CLRC).
They were sworn in yesterday by Celebrant, Her Worship Tracy Ganai, at the Tuna Bay Resort in Port Moresby.
The swearing in was witnessed by Minister for Justice & Attorney General Pila Nininigi, CLRC Staff led by Chairman MP Saki Soloma, Secretary Dr Mange Matui, family, friends & media.
Minister Niningi, in his remarks, commended the two re-appointed commissioners for their dedication to the service.
The Justice Minister said the constitution forms the good foundations of a country.
And as such, Minister Niningi said the CLRC has the very important task of ensuring that any oversight in existing laws, are reviewed & amended accordingly.
He further said, their [CLRC]’s work strengthens the constitution & ensures stability in the government & business; both of which are needed in the country right now.
Ms Kokiva & Ps Urame will serve an additional 4 years on the CLRC.
