NCD TEACHERS FRUSTRATED OVER DELAYED LEAVE PAYMENTS

FRUSTRATED teachers from schools across the National Capital District fronted up at the Vu;upindi Haus earlier this week to raise their concerns over delays in the payment of their leave fares.

The teachers said the prolonged delay has caused financial stress and uncertainty, especially ahead of the Christmas holiday period, when many are planning to travel home and be with their families.

They called on the relevant authorities to urgently address the issue and ensure outstanding leave fares are processed without further delays.

Meanwhile, the Teachers Service Commission’s office in response said many of the teachers have already got their leave fares, however, TSC Office will release an official statement to address the issue at hand.
