THE people of Imbonngu district will now have access to a new Level Five Hospita that after its completion.
Justice and Attorney-General and Imbonggu MP, Pila Niningi, gave this assurance to the people of Imbonngu at his Late mother’s funeral service as Peambi village.
Minsiter Niningi says, the K30 million project remains a top priority for the district adding that many lives were being lost to curable and preventable diseases due to the lack of adequate health facilities in Imbonggu and surrounding areas.
Once completed, the Pokorapul Hospital would operate as a modern Level Five facility, offering comprehensive medical services expected of a general hospital, and would be staffed by at least seven highly qualified doctors who would serve in various wards and specialised fields to meet the health needs of the growing population.
The Pokorapul Level Five Hospital project, a key Imbonggu District development initiative, is nearing completion and is expected to mark a milestone achievement in improving health service delivery in Imbonggu and broader Southern Highlands
