THE 35th Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELC) Synod will officially begin today, currently hosted at the Bunsil Government Station in the Siasi LLG of the Tewai Siassi District, in Morobe Province.

Tewai Siassi Open MP Dr Kobby Bomareo was officially on the ground to welcome all faithfull parishioners and delegates, ensuring all safetly arrived as expected.

ELC Head Bishop David Urame along with Bulolo Open MP and Vice Minister for Mining Sam Basil Jnr arrived on the island yesterday.

Secretary for the Department of Justice and Attorney General Dr.Eric Kwa, who is a local elite and a faithful Lutheran, also arrived yesterday afternoon, and more important dignitaries and national leaders are expected to arrive today for this important religious summit.
