2026 POM SEASON 7 CORPORATE VOLLEYBALL HEATS UP

A thrilling showdown at the Taurama Aquatic Indoor and Outdoor Centres in Port Moresby, as more than 40 corporate teams battled it out in Round 5 of the 2026 POM Corporate Volleyball Competition (Season 7).
This Sunday’s matches included several washout games from Round 4, which had been postponed due to poor weather conditions last weekend.
In the men’s premier division, three rescheduled wash out matches were played this morning with POM Gen defeated Government House two sets to one, recording 15 best serves.
In game 2 clash, Digicel overcame Forest Authority, with Forest Authority standing out for best backcourt play, while Digicel dominated at the net with the best blocking.
National Finance also secured a hard-fought two-sets-to-one victory over POM Gen.
Following the completion of these washout matches, teams have now progressed into the main men’s premier fixtures.
Meanwhile, six postponed matches in the women’s Division 1 are currently underway, with results yet to be confirmed.
The POM Corporate Volleyball Competition (POMVC), now in its seventh season, continues to promote health, fitness, and workplace wellness through sport.
Competition officials say matches will continue through the Easter weekend after receiving approval from venue management.
