DoWH SECRETARY HOLEMBA WELCOMES MINISTER TSIAMALILI

THE Department of works & Highways led by the Department secretary Gibson Holemba, and the management and staff today officially welcomed the new DoWH Ministet Peter Tsiamalili Jnr as he takes office following his recent appointment as Works Minister in the mini cabinet reshuffle.
Secretary Holemba in welcoming the Minister, gave assurance of a strong network support from regional managers, and over 1000 employers in the department
Secretary Holemba says Minister Tsiamalili takes on the office at a critical time and a historic moment, just when the Nation celebrates 50 years of independence and will start a new chapter for the next 50 years.
Meantime Minister Tsiamalili in his remarks say, he is humble to take up the portfolio as Minister and thanks secretary Holemba for the invigilation.
He urged his department to strengthen its systems to deliver and produce results this year in contributing to nation building.
He acknowledges the Department Secretary Gibson Holemba for his leadership and for identifying the current work with the infrastructure right across PNG, and to take stock and ensure there is maintenance.
Minister Tsiamalili says, the department is a conduit of all service and ensuring that the organisation is better positioned allowing the organisation to function effeciently.
Tsiamalili called on all to work together and build the department with discipline, pride and serve with integrity and connect PNG now, to build a future that the future generation deserves.
The minister says, if there have been any clogs in the system, this is the time to re-align, this year is the year to reset the organisations priorities
