FLY RIVER CUP INTENSIFIES AS QUARTER FINALS BEGIN

THE Fly River Cup Rugby League Tournament has entered its third day today, with teams competing in the quarterfinal stage.
The first matchup features Kiunga Catfish taking on Kiunga Homda, followed by a second quarterfinal clash between Daru Barramundis and Dibili Pukpuks.
Victors from both matches will secure places in the grand final, while the defeated sides will play off for third and fourth positions.
The grand final and presentation program are expected to be held later this afternoon.
So far, the tournament has continued without any disturbances as Daru Police, together with the McGregor Mobile Squad Unit, have provided security throughout the event from the opening day 1 until Day Three.
Officials remain confident that the grand final will conclude peacefully later today.
