DEI COMPLETE POLLING, SET FOR COUNTING

THE POLLING in the Dei electorate of Western Highlands Province has successfully completed, awaiting counting and declaration of their new member elect.

This was according to Dei Returning Officer Philip Telape yesterday.

Telape added that despite voters confusion, hijack and irregularities due to security and logistics, Dei completed their polling last Friday.

Only four areas in Mun, Muglamp, Mt Ambra and Palgi moved their polling to Kimininga in Mt Hagen and cast their votes.

Telape added counting will commence once Counting venue is ready at Kimininga Police Barracks.
