NDOH WORKING TO ADDRESS DRUG PROCUREMENT IN ENB

THE National Department of Health [NdoH] is looking to work with the East New Britain Provincial Health Authority to sort out issues regarding drug procurement, following the PHA’s declaration of renouncing the National Medical Supply System [NMSS].

Health Minister and Pomio Mp, Elias Kapavore considering this situation early this week, told FM100 News that he had received advise from the NdoH Executive Manager-Medical Supplies, Malcom Sapak that they would reach out to the PHA to provide more information on this matter.

According to the Minister, Mr. Sapak advise his office once he has received background on this arrangement.

During this time, the Minister assured that supplies are going into Kokopo AMS whilst work on the Butuwin AMS is nearing completion and will cater for increased volume of medicines into the store.

Anticipated completion of the Butuwin AMS is June this year.
