PNG POWER LIMITED EXECUTES MASS DISCONNECTION DUE TO OUTSTANDING DEBTS

DUE to an accumulated outstanding debt of electricity bills owed to the state’s electricity provider, PNG Power Limited (PPL), the service provider has advised that it will carry out a mass disconnection nationwide.
PPL has issued a public notice advising that the mass disconnection that commenced on February 02nd and will run for a period of two months until the end of April.
PPL Authorities says credit meter customers with outstanding bills will be disconnected.
The authorities further added that power supply will be restored once outstanding bill are paid in full, along with the reconnection fee.
Debited customers are advised to pay their outstanding bills to PPL immediately to avoid their electricity being cut off.
