SCHOOLS TO RESUME LATER THIS MONTH

ALL Schools nation-wide shouldy resume the 2025 academic year towards the end of January.

In an interview with this newsroom, a Teaching Service Commission spokes person Susan Iroro confirmed that teachers will office on the 20th of January 2025 while students will resume later in the following week on the 27th.

She adds that the teachers will resume ahead of the students in preparation for the 2025 academic year and the students will come in for registrations and enrolments in the following week.

In the meantime, in a letter to the Education Department, the TSC chairman Samson Wangihomie has indicated that the 2025 school year is not promising, following concerns regarding the appointments of teachers in some provinces in the country.
