HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT AWARDED VEHICLE

Paradise High School in Port Moresby celebrated the achievement of one of its students, Miss Tamaso Pavos, who placed second nationwide in the grade 12 national examinations recently.

In recognition of her hard work and dedication, the school awarded her with a car.

Miss Pavos, hailing from New Ireland (Musau to be specific) expressed gratitude for the support she received during her studies, acknowledging that 2024 was a challenging year both at home and in school.

She emphasized the importance of consistency and discipline in achieving success and encouraged other young individuals to adopt these qualities.

“I am overwhelmed as this is a huge achievement and I am trying to keep it together as much as possible,” she said.

Miss Pavos credited her success to the help of God, her family, friends, and teachers.

She referred to Paradise High School as her second home and expressed gratitude towards her mentors and educators for their guidance and support.

Miss Pavos proudly left the decision of what to do with the car to her father.

Principal Mr. Safak Deliismail congratulated Miss Pavos and all the other students who received awards, emphasizing the school’s commitment to recognizing and fostering academic excellence.
