PAITA, LOIFA SWORN IN AS STATE MINISTERS

OUR Pati Leader & Finschaffen Mp, Rainbo Paita & Solen Loifa yesterday were sworn in as State Ministers yesterday at the Government House. In His speech, Prime Minister James Marape welcomed back both members, expressing his happiness for their return to Government.

Prime Minister Marape commended OUR Party for their commitment to work with the Government once again, further stating that their rejoining Parliament in November 2024 has demonstrated their loyalty and willingness to support key constitutional laws.

He said Loyalty is not merely reflected in social media conversations; it is demonstrated through actions in Parliament.

The Prime Ministers said with only one cabinet portfolio and one vice-ministerial position available, He offered these roles to OUR Party to decide who would take on these responsibilities.

He said the Government aims to implement substantial reforms, including resource management, decentralization, and public service restructuring. These initiatives are monumental and demand their collective effort.
