POLICE TO RE-ARREST DISMISSED CASES

By Benjamin KOITAKA
POLICE will make re-arrest on those interested individuals and parties were freed due to their cases being struct out by the Courts.
This was confirmed by Officer In Charge of National Capital District Prosecution, Chief Inspector Binuali Boas.
OIC Boas said the Court had a huge number cases dismissed lately due to the lack of evidence, lack of Police Prosecutors doing their interviews and not having the police hand-up briefs on time, and lack of cooperation between the witnesses but arrests will be made soon.
OIC Boas referenced to lately last year, there were 32-cases dismissed to its entirely by Waigani Committal Court due to lack of Police not having the files ready, thus taking much time to pursue the cases.
