BSP WANTOK WALLET SUCCESSFUL

BSP Financial Group Limited has successfully rolled out its new BSP Wantok Wallet product in Kiunga, with strong customer engagement and positive feedback.

According to Simon Francis, BSP Kiunga Branch Manager, the Wantok Wallet awareness campaign has seen high registration numbers, with customers quickly adopting the mobile wallet service. Many customers are already using the service for transactions, such as cash deposits and withdrawals.

“The reception has been fantastic. People are excited about the convenience and ease of using the Wantok Wallet. They are also encouraging their friends and family to sign up,” said Francis.

BSP has been conducting an extensive roadshow across Western Province to educate communities on the new service, emphasizing its accessibility and benefits.

Francis shared that the bank is actively working to extend its agent network to remote areas that have limited banking access. The initiative aims to empower rural residents by enabling mobile transactions, reducing their need to travel long distances to access banking services.

“We are planning to expand to areas like Nomad and Lake Murray. Financial inclusion is our priority, and we want to ensure that even the most remote communities can benefit from digital banking,” Francis stated.
