KALANG DONATES TRUKAI FUN RUN T’SHIRTS TO GEREHU SEC & LAHARA AVENUE

KALANG Advertising Limited trading as FM100, Hot97 FM and Kalang Events Management has yet again came on board this year as a Media organisation to support in the Trukai Fun Run in raising funds to support Team PNG to the Mini Pacific Games in Palau on later this month.

This morning, a team from Kalang visited two schools in the Nation’s Capital and delivered Trukai Fun Run T’shirts for students of Lahara Avenue School and Gerehu Secondary School and the students were excited to receive the donations.

Each school received 400 and 700 shirts respectively which KAL bided for during the Trukai Fun Run T’shirt Auction night last month.

KAL Sales & Events Manager Dorothy N’dromoi emphasised the company’s role in supporting Team PNG to Palau and also urged the students to be part of this fun filled event.

Deputy Principal of Lahara Avenue School, Priscillah Rupen was so emotional when receiving the donation and thanks KAL for assisting the students to take part in the Fun Run event.

Mr Paul Lolya Deputy Principal of Gerehu Secondary School also shared the same sentiments saying, the donation was timely and thanked KAL for the kind gesture in giving the students the opportunity to participate in the event.

The Trukai Fun Run is scheduled for the 22nd of this month whilst the Team PNG will depart for the games in Palau on the 29th of June.

This is KAL’s way of giving back to the Community as a social responsibility, in supporting sports and also giving an opportunity to the students to take part in this annual event.
