DORNA LONGBUT CLAIMS GOLD IN PARA WOMEN’S AMBULANT FINALS
AFTER missing out on the 2023 Pacific Games in Solomon Islands due to injury, Dorna Longbut made her comeback at the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Koror, Palau.
She competed in the Para Women’s 100m Ambulant finals defending her PMG22 gold medal and claimed a new one for Team PNG.
Her team mate Manega Tapari claimed her first silver medal in the same event.
Both athletes delivered powerful runs that added to Team PNG’s growing medal tally.
Their achievements shine a spotlight on the strength and determination of PNG’s para-athletes on the regional stage.
