25 LLGs TO GO TO POLLS IN EHP

A TOTAL of 25 LLGs with 287wards in the Eastern Highlands Province is set to go for polling today.
Eastern Highlands Provincial Election Manager Mr Steven Gore Kaupa says for some wards who miss out they will go to polling on Wednesday.
Mr Kaupa said a total of 660 polling teams with 5 official’s each are prepared to conducted the long awaited polling.
He said counting for the LLG Elections in EHP will commence on Friday 1st November with the returning of writs of the 287 ward back to Chief Electoral Commissioner Simon Sinai on 14 November 2025.
He said, funding given by the PNGEC HQ has been used to complete the LLGs Elections with additional funds from the EHP government.
