TELIKOM PNG Group Chief Executive Officer Mr Amos Tepi has officially welcomed 50 new graduates into the company as part of its 2026 graduate development program aimed at building a new generation of workforce.

Speaking during the welcome ceremony this morning Mr Tepi said the program forms a key part of Telikom’s corporate strategy to transform the state-owned telecommunications company into a modern technology-driven organisation.

He said Telikom is moving away from traditional ways of doing business and is bringing in young and skilled graduates to help drive innovation and digital transformation in the coming years.

Mr Tepi explained that the recruitment follows a major internal restructuring carried out last year to prepare the organisation for the next phase of growth.

He also added that the company plans to recruit around 50 graduates each year over the next three years, allowing young Papua New Guineans to take up key roles within the organisation.

Mr Tepi encouraged the graduates to actively engage with leaders across the Telikom Group and to ask questions as they begin their careers.

He said the telecommunications industry is rapidly evolving due to emerging technologies and graduates will play an important role in helping the company adapt to these global changes.

Mr Tepi also reminded the graduates that Telikom is a Papua New Guinean-owned company, and their work will contribute to strengthening the country’s digital future.
