COMMUNITY IN TIFALMIN GETS GIFTED CLASSROOMS

Following the successful launch of the Urapmin Road on the Friday 9th May another major milestone was celebrated in Tifalmin with the handover of the community’s first primary school classroom donated by Kaiyop Investment Limited.

Managing Director of Tumla Limited Irad Nati, together with Managing Director of Kaiyop Investment Ltd. Maino Lucas, officially handed over the newly built classroom to Telefomin District Administrator Joshua Himina, students, teachers and members of the community.

Speaking during the event, Mr Nati acknowledged the work of Late. Telefomin MP Solan Mirisim for his leadership and vision. Adding that road access reaching the remote Tifalmin area is a testament to his work.

Mr Nati also thanked Kaiyop Investment Limited and under the leadership of Maino Lucas for successfully completing the road project and bringing much-needed services to the people.

He said real change comes through road and access connections, adding that although Tumla Limited was not directly involved in the project, the company wanted to contribute meaningfully to the community.

As part of that support, Mr Nati presented full school uniforms to students of the newly established Tifalmin Primary School after the handover of the classroom and also contributed K20,000 towards the Tifalmin Cooperative Society to support future community development initiatives.
