YOUNG CREATORS REWARDED IN 2 FAST MOTORS VIDEO COMPETITION

YOUNG PNG content creators were recognised and rewarded yesterday as 2 Fast Motors announced the winners of its video competition aimed at promoting the company’s newly opened showroom at Gordons in Port Moresby.
The competition encouraged participants to create and share videos showcasing their new showroom at Gordons in Port Moresby while using digital technology and social media platforms in a positive and creative way.
Speaking at the prize presentation, 2 Fast Motors Sales and Marketing Manager Honey Bee thanked all participants for their support, creativity and enthusiasm, saying their efforts helped make the competition a success and introduced the showroom to a wider audience.
G Force won the grand prize of K5,000 with 514,000 views online. Accepting the award, a representative of the dance group thanked supporters, friends and family for backing them throughout the competition.
He also encouraged young Papua New Guineans to make use of their talents, saying opportunities can come from unexpected places.
The group said the prize money would help support their goal of travelling overseas to compete in international dance competitions, an opportunity they have long been working towards.
The second prize of K2,000 was awarded to HFuks, with 198,000 views, while Leon Visuals claimed third prize with K1,000 with 153,000 views.
Leon Visuals said he hoped his content would inspire young people to use technology and artificial intelligence in a positive way and encourage others to create even better content.
Meanwhile, 2 Fast Motors General Manager Khim Tan said the initiative was designed to promote the company’s new showroom while providing an opportunity for young people to showcase their talents through digital content creation.
He said the competition demonstrated how social media and advanced technology can be used constructively to develop skills, creativity and opportunities for youth in Papua New Guinea rather than being misused online.
