PNGCS LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO IMPROVE CS LEADERSHIP AND TACTICAL SKILLS

THE Leadership and PNG Corrections Tactical Training Program at Bomana Training College will strategically improve the Correction Service in terms of effective leadership and tactical skills.

CS Commissioner Noel Sarei in opening the ceremony today says, the training will strengthen the institution and national security.

Commissioner Sarei encouraged the 60 participating officers to take advantage of the opportunity and learn as much as possible from the facilitators.

The training consists of three sessions: Tactical and Medical Training, Leadership and Management Training, and Corrections Training. The program will run from 22 to 26 June 2026.

The training is an initiative of the government in partnership with Government of the United States of America, commencing today and will conclude on Friday, 26 June 2026.
