SIMBERI Gold Company Limited has received ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for its Process Laboratory, marking an important achievement in the company’s commitment to quality, technical competence and reliable laboratory services.
The certificate was presented by the National Institute of Standards and Industrial Technology (NISIT), through the Papua New Guinea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (PNGLAS), at the NISIT Headquarters in Port Moresby on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.
The accreditation was officially granted on 6 July 2026 following a detailed assessment process that began with the company’s application in April 2025. This achievement demonstrates the company’s commitment to high standards of quality, accuracy and transparency.
Internationally recognised laboratory accreditation provides independent verification of the reliability of assay results, giving regulators, the Bank of Papua New Guinea and other key stakeholders greater confidence in the data that supports gold production reporting and gold export activities.
