SP BREWERY BACKS 2026 TAMA FESTIVAL

SOUTH Pacific Brewery has pledged K10,000 in sponsorship towards the 2026 Tama Festival which will be held in Arawa Bougainville from August 19 to 21.

The three-day festival will feature traditional performances, arts and crafts exhibitions, and local cuisine.
SP Brewery Sponsorship and Events Executive Meiva Lalatute says the sponsorship reflects the company’s continued commitment to supporting cultural events that preserve Papua New Guinea’s traditions.

She says the Tama Festival provides an important platform to showcase Bougainville’s rich cultural heritage, bring communities together and pass traditional customs and stories on to future generations.

Meanwhile, Treasurer of the Central Bougainville Tourism Association, Delwin Ketsian in receiving the sponsorship on behalf of the festival committee and thanked SP Brewery for its continued support.

SP Brewery will also have a booth at the festival promoting its Generation of Change campaign, encouraging responsible alcohol consumption and respect within communities.
