SIR BRIAN BELL FOUNDATION BACKS CHURCH BUILDING PROJECT IN TAMBUL NEBILYER

MORE than million-kina worth church building project in the Sinsibai village of Tambul-Nebilyer district has got timely boost from one of the renowned and well-established firms in the country, to support the ongoing construction and good job the Church is continue doing at the communities.

The Sir Brian Bell Foundation has backed Sinsibai Catholic Sacred Heart Parish with K50 000, as a way of giving back to the communities and to ease-off the burden the Church-goers and the congregation members going through at this time of construction of their new church structure.

Brian Bell Group of Companies Mt Hagen branch representative Hanna Dumu while presenting the dummy cheque to the Church and fundraising members last week at Sinsibai in the Upper-Nebilyer area, added that it is fitting for the Foundation to help and support Churches in any capacities they could as Church is the only avenue to mould, shape and steer this nation into better place to live for everyone.

Dumu said the money will be put into good use and it is what Brian Bell and the Foundation is all about to see communities transform and citizens live in a God-fearing, respected and safe societies.

Sinsibai Catholic Sacred Heart Parish church building project fundraising Chairman Allan Sumb commended the Foundation, adding that the project is one of the biggest rural church projects, which is estimated to cost at least K4m, and have already exhausted K1.2m at the construction of foundation phase alone.

“Today is a day of thanksgiving and celebration for the Sinsibai Sacred Heart Parish community,” Sumb added.

“On behalf of Archbishop Most Rev. Dr. Clement Papa, Parish Priest Fr. Kenneth Londe, the Sinsibai Parish Church Building Fundraising Committee, and all parishioners, we express our deepest gratitude to the Sir Brian Bell Foundation for its generous donation of K50,000.00 towards the construction of the Sinsibai Sacred Heart Parish Church.

“This generous contribution is far more than a financial donation and it is a gift of hope, faith, and encouragement.
“It is helping us build not only a church, but a sacred place where generations of families will gather to worship God, celebrate the Holy Eucharist, receive the Sacraments, and strengthen their faith for many years to come.
