WABAG DISTRICT TO LAUNCH “RAUSIM KUNAI, PUTIM KAPA” HOUSING PROGRAM NEXT MONTH

THE Wabag District Development Authority (WDDA) will officially launch its Rural Housing Scheme project known as the ‘ Rausim Kunai, Putim Kapai’ Program next month.
The much-anticipated Rausim Kunai Putim Kapa program is expected to be officially launched in Wabag in the second week of next month, according to Wabag Open MP Dr.Lino Tom.
The second term MP clarified that the rural housing scheme program, described as an ambitious and life-transforming initiative, has experienced delays that were beyond the program’s control.
“However, preparations are now progressing, with the launch expected to take place soon,” MP Lino said.
The People’s Party parliamentary leader mentioned that a further eight containers of steel rolls are being shipped from China to support the rollout of the program.
The medical surgeon turned politician highlighted that once this program is launched, the initiative aims to extend its reach across Wabag District and the surrounding communities, with the goal of covering the entire length and breadth of the electorate as implementation progresses.
“The delay has not been of our doing. However, this ambitious and life-transforming program will be launched soon, possibly in the second week of October in Wabag,” MP Lino said.
He said that the program is expected to bring practical benefits to communities across the district as the rollout gets underway.
