34 FLORICULTURISTS PARTICIPATED IN 3RD GOROKA FLOWER SHOW

A total of 34 floriculturists took part in the 3rd Goroka Annual Flower Show that commenced on Friday last week, with 33 female participants and only one male participant Papaso Ame.
THE 3rd Goroka annual flower Show known as one of the lead up shows towards the famous annual Goroka Show, is hosted following the importance of floriculture in the province.
This event gives the opportunity for women to showcase their talents and creativity in floriculture industry as they presented their flower installations to judges.
3 categories are Bilum which is to contain the 50th Anniversary and a bridal bouquet.
The event held at the YC Hall and headed by Goroka Flower Show Coordinator Anne Seine.
Major sponsors of the event include the Eastern Highlands Provincial government, Monpi Coffee Limited, Ocean Cover Limited, Wine Star Limited sponsor of gifts, the Nokondi Investments and the EHP 50th Independence anniversary Committee.
