The Minister for State Owned Enterprises, William Duma commends Kumul Mineral Holdings Limited on behalf of the Prime Minister and the State on the payment of a dividend cheque of K54.2 million to the State.

The sum comprises K30.7 million from the 2024 financial year and an interim dividend of K23.5 million for 2025.

This dividend is a direct result of KMHL’s 67% shareholding in OK Tedi Mining Limited, a cornerstone of PNG’s mining sector.

He says he is confident that this trend will continue for the next 50 years, contributing significantly to PNG’s prosperity.

He also commended the KMHL’s Board led by chairman Dr. Illa Temu and the management team under the managing director, Sarimu Kanu, for their dedication and leadership.

Minister Duma said these funds will be allocated by the Government to advance the economic goals and development.
