Residents of North Waigani and the wider Port Morsby will now have easier access to quality healthcare products and medical care with the opening of the 36th City Pharmacy outlet at Thomand Plaza in Port Moresby.
Pradeep Panda, CPL Head of Pharmacy, says like all their stores across the country, this new outlet provides a wide range of trusted healthcare products, including medications, skincare, beauty items, medical supplies, personal care, dental care, and more.
Panda also shared that City Pharmacy is committed to being a pharmacy for the people of Papua New Guinea. He emphasized that the new store adds to the companyβs mission to help reduce the healthcare burden in the country.
Mr. Panda also highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships in improving PNGβs healthcare systems. He said that City Pharmacy continues to support small and medium businesses (SMEs) by offering locally made products, such as all-natural coconut oil.
Additionally, the company is expanding its wellness clinics, with this new branch adding to the existing 24 clinics in its City Pharmacy outlets across the country. Last year alone, these clinics served over 270,000 people nationwide.
Panda added that by shopping at City Pharmacy, customers are not only getting quality healthcare and beauty products, but they are also supporting the growth of the local economy.
