MONI PLUS SUPPORTS 2025 HIRI MOALE FESTIVAL WITH A SILVER SPONSORSHIP OF K50,000

Moni Plus shown its unwavering support to preserving and celebrating culture and has come on board as the silver sponsors for the 51st Hiri Moale Festival with a sponsorship of K50,000.
The cheque was presented to the Hiri Moale Committee by Moni Plus General Manager Dioben Baluyut on Thursday 13th, March 2025 at the Moni Plus Head Office in Port Moresby.
Speaking on behalf of Moni Plus Head of Commercial Karai Morea said on behalf of the Management, Board of Directors and the staff they are honored to be the silver sponsor for the 2025 Hiri Moale Festival.
Mr. Morea says being a financial institution they not only pride themselves in the financial services they provide but also look at all aspects of their surroundings and the community and they serve in and make sure they create connections.
He says Moni Plus is confident that through this sponsorship it can benefit the festival arrangements and source a better impact on the importance of maintaining and preserving cultural heritage.
He told the committee present that their work in delivering a successful festival in keeping cultural beliefs will go a long way in education youths, communities and the citizens of PNG and the Motu Koita people.
Meanwhile the Motu Koita Assembly CEO Mari Kila thanked Moni Plus for the continued partnership and the sponsorship towards the Hiri Moale Festival.
Mr. Kila said this year marks the 10th year Moni Plus has come onboard to sponsor the festival.
He says the festival becomes a success because of support from companies like Moni Plus and they are grateful. The important aspects of and the reasons behind hosting the festival is preserving the culture of Motu Koita people who are indigenous people of this beautiful city which has become the capital of Papua New Guinea.
