BSP Launches Rugby League World Cup 2026 Campaign as excitement builds for the Rugby League World Cup 2026, Bank South Pacific (BSP) has officially launched its regional campaign, “Backing Every Try, Backing Every Customer”.
The campaign highlights BSP’s role as the Official Exclusive Banking Partner and Major Sponsor of the tournament, reflecting its commitment to supporting customers, communities, and economic opportunities across the South Pacific.
Spanning Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga, the campaign will champion the region’s teams on the world stage, including the PNG Kumuls and Orchids, Fiji Bati and Bulikula, Toa Samoa and Fetu Samoa, Mate Ma’a Tonga, and Cook Islands Aitu.
BSP says the campaign celebrates values of resilience, teamwork, and community support — principles shared by rugby league, the bank, and the wider South Pacific community.
BSP Group Chief Executive Officer Mark Robinson says the bank’s new Rugby League World Cup 2026 campaign is about more than sport, emphasising that rugby league unites people across the Pacific and provides an opportunity to celebrate Pacific pride.
Mr Robinson explained the campaign draws a link between scoring tries on the field and customers achieving personal milestones such as buying a first home, paying school fees, building savings, or growing a business.
Mr Robinson says, “Every customer has their own try to score — BSP is here to help back its customers.
The campaign will also showcase opportunities created by the World Cup for local businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities, helping the Pacific shine on the global stage.
Over the coming months, BSP will roll out customer promotions, merchant activations, community engagement initiatives, staff activities, and digital content, all under the message “Backing Every Try, Backing Every Customer.”
