KALANG Advertising Limited (KAL), the premium radio broadcaster, trading as FM100, Hot97fm, and Kalang Events Management, in partnership with the National Fisheries Authority, donated gifts to the children’s cancer ward at the Port Moresby General Hospital today under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, “Share the Love.”
The donation was made possible through the support of the National Fisheries Authority (NFA), the sponsor of FM100’s Sunday Gospel Show, a show that broadcasts every Sunday night emphasising God’s love and family unity.
The “Share the Love” initiative sends a powerful, encouraging message to people facing difficult times, highlighting one key message: with God, all things are possible.
KAL Sales and Marketing Manageress, Ms. Dorothy N’dromoi, thanked the Port Moresby General Hospital Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Paki Molumi, for the opportunity to visit the children.
She said the visit realises the show’s message to share the love of God with every child and parent who is going through difficult times.
Ms. N’dromoi added that, aside from the children, there were also gifts bags for medical officers, doctors, nurses and staff at the ward, to encourage them to continue sharing the love of God through their expertise and care.
The hospital staff thanked KAL and the NFA for their support.
The gifts were presented to the eleven (11) children in the ward, most of whom are battling Leukemia.
