PNG MEDIA VISITS WEST TIGERS AND PARAMATTA EELS’ HIGH-PERFORMANCE CENTRES

THERE has been a lot more planned surprises for the visiting Media Team from Papua New Guinea, and today was a huge opportunity for the team to visit the West Tigers High Performance Centre, Zurich Centre and later travelled to Paramatta Eels High Performance Centre.

The team had an interactive discussion with West Tigers team officials and later toured the teams’ facilities.

While they also had the chance to tour the Paramatta Eels High Performance Centre, the highlight of the visit was meeting up with PNG’s very owned, Elsie Albert, captain of the National team, PNG Orchids, and now plays for the Paramatta Eels NRLW.

These arrangement by the Australian Government, is for the media to be familiar with the NRL Ecosystem, as Papua New Guinea Chiefs will enter the Australian National Rugby Football League in 2028 as the 19th NRL team.

The team will travel tomorrow to South Sydney Rabbitohs High Performance Centre, attend a South Sydney Rabbitohs training and media engagements and participate in press conferences with coaches and players and later travel to NRL Rugby League Central for a Media Workshop with NRL Media.
