SAFETY NOT CONCERN, AJ OK TO MOVE TO PNG CHIEFS

PNG Chiefs 002 and the NRL King try scorer Alex Johnson’s decision to join the Chiefs in 2028 has not been influenced by the security concerns.

Of PNG origin, Johnson says his family is ok with the move to PNG, a decision he had discussed with with his partner and kids.

His wife and kids are happy with the decision and will move to PNG for the inaugural entry of PNG Chiefs in NRL in 2028.

AJ says, this was the best deal for him, signing up for a PNG side was something he was passionate about and safety is not a concern for him and his family, even though there has been a lot of talk about safety concerns in Port Moresby.

He says his PNG family is excited about his decision, and being the first PNG to sign for the Chiefs is very special.
