WAPENAMANDA DDA PAYS K23,000 TO NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE

THE Wapenamanda District Development Authority (WDDA) paid a total of K23,000 to the National Polytechnic Institute of Papua New Guinea for 23 students from Wapenamanda District studying in Lae, Morobe Province.
WDDA Chief Executive Officer Mr Kevin Yatu was in Lae, Morobe Province, to present the cheque to the school administration today.
The WDDA has allocated a total of K3 million to subsidize school fees for tertiary students from the district studying throughout the country.
“Your schools shall be visited upon schedule and when your holiday periods are complete,” Mr Yati said.
The WDDA has been subsidizing school fees for its tertiary students since 2023.
