PNG PORTS DONATES K100 000 TO ENBPA IN SUPPORT TOWARDS VICTIMS’ FAMILY AND RESCUE OPERATION

PNG Ports Corporation Limited stands in solidarity with the people of East New Britain Province following the recent tragic loss of families at sea.
In response, PNG Ports has donated K100,000 to the East New Britain Provincial Administration to support the victims’ families and rescue operations during this difficult time.
Chairman Mr. Harvey Nii, on behalf of the Board, Management and staff, extended heartfelt condolences to the affected families and the wider ENB community — noting PNG Ports’ long history with the province through Rabaul Port on Simpson Harbour, a key regional gateway for the Islands Region.
Governor Michael Marum thanked PNG Ports for its generosity, noting that such acts of solidarity matter deeply in difficult times.
PNG Ports also urges the public to exercise caution when travelling at sea, particularly during harsh weather conditions.
