LUAI HAPPY TO PLAY ALONGSIDE CLERY

PNG Chiefs singing number 001 Jarome Luai says he is happy and looking forward to once again play alongside Nathan Clery, if Chiefs happen to sign him in the near future.

Luai was in the country on Sunday including his wife, to witness the finals of the 2026 PNG Open Golf Tournament held in Port Moresby, together with Prime Minister James Marape.

Luai told Kalang Sports in a brief interview that he is looking forward to partner with Clery in 2028 Chiefs inaugural NRL season if Chiefs sign the New South Wales, Australia Kangaroos and Penrith Panthers superstar.

The Wests Tigers playmaker said it is up to the Chiefs management to recruit and he is ready to play with whoever coming his way at the halves-pairing.
