SP BREWERY BACKS GOROKA SHOW WITH K20,000

SOUTH Pacific Brewery has reaffirmed its support towards the Goroka Show with a K20,000 sponsorship for this year’s cultural event.

The Goroka Show, which has been running for seven decades was originally established to promote peace and unity among tribes and has grown into a major celebration of Papua New Guinea’s cultural heritage.

SP Brewery representative John Tole when presenting the cheque, said the company is proud to continue its longstanding partnership with the Goroka Show Committee.

Goroka Show Committee Chairlady Keryn Hargreaves thanked SP Brewery for its ongoing support, saying partnerships like this are important to sustaining cultural events.

The Goroka Show will be held from September 18th to 20th, 2026, in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province.

SP Brewery will also have a booth at the festival promoting its “Join the Generation of Change campaign” that is focused on responsible consumption and respect within communities.
