PACIFIC FASHION SUMMIT KICKS OFF AT APEC HOUSE

THE Pacific Fashion Summit opened today at APEC House in Port Moresby, bringing together designers, business leaders and cultural groups under the theme “The Future of Culture.”

The two‑day event is a partnership between PNG Fashion Week and the New Zealand High Commission, featuring panel discussions, networking sessions and presentations on fashion business and culture.

The Panel Discussion includes topics on the Business of Fashion, Fashion Supply Chains and market Access, Media Storytelling and influence, Emotional Intelligence and Professionalism, Sustainable Fashion Culture and Youth talent and next generation.

Panelist includes Fashion Designers from PNG and the Pacific.

Fashion designers, contestants and participants have eagerly took part in the summit, which runs until tomorrow Saturday, 19 September 2026.
