THE Nyanam PNG Civil Engineering Limited in Aitape in West Sepik have confirmed the company will continue to sponsor Dux Awards for Aitape Junior High School in the future as long as the company is in business.

This was made known by Nyanam PNG Civil Engineering Limited representative Mr Jeremiah Sirias yesterday when presenting the Dux award for the pioneer grade 10 students of Aitape Junior High School.

Mr Sirias said the company’s reason in sponsoring Dux Awards is to challenge all students to study and perform well to excell in their education.

“Just like sports, only one team will win the grand final but every team achieve the result of playing, whereas in education, only one student will receive the dux award and the rest will also excell”, Mr Sirias added.

Mr Sirias congratulated all 94 graduands and wish them the best in their national exams next week.

The pioneer Dux award for Aitape Junior High School was awarded to John Wulkag. Mr Wulkag came first in all grade 10 subjects to be the outstanding pioneer grade 10 student of the school.
