THE “We Are One Foundation” has recognized its sponsors and partners for their contributions towards improving lives and supporting healthcare and community development initiatives across Papua New Guinea.

The recognition was made during the Foundation’s Sponsors and Partners Presentation Afternoon held this week at the Crowne Hotel in Port Moresby under the theme “Celebrating Partnership, Recognising Support.”

Speaking at the event, We Are One Foundation Director Kavitha Bluett acknowledged the ongoing support of corporate partners, volunteers and donors whose contributions have helped expand the Foundation’s reach across the country.

Guests viewed presentations highlighting the success of the 2026 We Are One Mother’s Day Charity Music Festival and the Islands Petroleum Charity Colour Run, which together raised funds to support healthcare and community programmes.

According to the Foundation, the 2026 Islands Petroleum Charity Colour Run was staged across eight locations including Port Moresby, Lae, Kokopo, Kimbe, Madang, Goroka, Wewak and Alotau, bringing communities together in support of charitable causes.

Director Kavitha Bluett told guests the Foundation’s fundraising efforts have raised more than K2.5 million, helping deliver assistance to 13 hospitals and health facilities throughout Papua New Guinea.

Director Kavitha Bluett said “ funds raised have contributed towards the purchase of medical equipment, improvements to healthcare services and other community-focused projects aimed at providing better outcomes for Papua New Guineans”.
The event also featured the presentation of appreciation plaques and recognition awards to sponsors, including Islands Petroleum Limited, for their continued commitment to supporting the Foundation’s mission.

The presentation afternoon concluded with the unveiling of the Foundation’s planned programmes for 2027 and expressions of appreciation to sponsors and partners for their ongoing support.
