THE “We Are One Foundation” -WAO- has announced that Mt Hagen will join the 2027 Islands Petroleum Charity Colour Run, expanding the annual fundraising event to nine locations nationwide.

The announcement was made during the Foundation’s Sponsors and Partners Presentation Afternoon at the Crown Hotel in Port Moresby yesterday.

Foundation Director Kavitha Bluett said” the addition of Mt Hagen reflects growing national support for the charity event and will allow more Papua New Guineans to participate in fundraising activities that support healthcare and community development projects.”

Since its inception, the Islands Petroleum Charity Colour Run has grown into one of PNG’s largest charity fundraising events, bringing together families, businesses and community groups in support of worthy causes.

The Foundation says the expansion to nine locations will increase participation opportunities while strengthening awareness of the importance of giving back to communities.

Organisers are confident the inclusion of Mt Hagen will further boost fundraising efforts and help extend the Foundation’s support to more communities and healthcare facilities across Papua New Guinea.
