FINAL K226 MILLION TFF FUNDING TO REACH SCHOOLS THIS WEEK

THE remaining K226 million in Tuition Fee Free (TFF) funding is expected to be deposited into school accounts this week, according to Education Secretary Dr Uke Kombra.

Speaking during the Department of Education’s official onboarding to the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) system at Vulupindi Haus, Education Secretary Dr Uke Kombra confirmed that the full TFF allocation has now been warranted and released.

Dr Kombra confirmed that the government’s full K904 million TFF allocation for 2026 has been warranted and released, with the final tranche now awaiting transfer to schools.

He said the release highlights the government’s continued commitment to supporting free education and ensuring schools receive their full funding entitlement.
