BSP AND CTSL PARTNER TO SUPPORT SUPERANUATION SERVICES FOR DEFENCE MEMBERS

BANK South Pacific (BSP) and Comrade Trustee Services Limited (CTSL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to make superannuation services faster, simpler and more secure for Papua New Guinea Defence Force members.
The signing yesterday saw an agreement established to allow members bank statements to be shared directly and securely between BSP and CTSL. This removes the need for members to visit BSP branches just to obtain statements when applying for partial or full withdrawal of their superannuation contributions.
CTSL’s General Manager Member Services, Freddy Manihoru, said the arrangement will ease processes for more than 6,000 members.
“Our focus is always on our members. By removing the need for extra paperwork and branch visits, we are giving them back valuable time while ensuring they receive a smoother and faster service,” Mr Manihoru said.
BSP’s Group General Manager Retail, Ronesh Dayal, said customer convenience and security are central to the bank’s service delivery.
“At BSP, we care about our customers and continue to make banking simpler. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to put people first by making financial services and retirement processes easier, faster and more secure,” Mr Dayal said.
He added that the MoU ensures customer information will be handled with the highest standards of legal, operational and technological care.
Through this collaboration, BSP and CTSL are reducing barriers and improving the customer journey, ensuring Defence Force members can access essential superannuation services with greater ease and confidence.
