MINJ BSP CUSTOMERS FIRST TO USE DEPOSIT ATM IN HIGHLANDS REGION

MINJ in Jiwaka Province has become the first location in the Highlands Region to access a BSP Deposit ATM.

More than 200, 000 Customers of BSP Financial Group Limited in Anglimp South Waghi District can now deposit cash directly into their accounts at any time even after banking hours.

BSP Group Retail General Manager Ronesh Dayal says the branch officially opened on Tuesday, 17th February 2026 with enhanced services including Deposit and Dispensing ATMs, teller services, lending, digital banking registration, card services and account opening.

Highlands Region Area Manager John Tomba Junior says customers in Minj are leading the way in digital banking innovation in the Highlands.

He says the Deposit ATM will greatly benefit farmers, small business owners, public servants and families in the largely rural district, where agriculture remains the backbone of the local economy.

The new branch building was completed in five months and together with BSP’s Hybrid Branch in Banz this will reduce the need for Jiwaka residents to travel to Mount Hagen for banking services.
