2026 NWRL COMPETITION LAUNCHED
THE 2026 National Women’s Rugby League competition – the Santos Cup is set to kick off this weekend in Port Moresby, Lae, Goroka and Minj.
This was revealed today after a brief season launch in Port Moresby today.
PNG National Rugby League competition chairman Adrian Chow confirmed that only six teams will continue to play the prestigious Santos Cup for this year.
The teams include Goroka Lahanis, Port Moresby Vipers, Mt Hagen Eagles, Central Dabaris, Lae Tigers and Rabaul Gurias.
Meanwhile, the rematch of the last year’s grand final, Central Dabaris and Goroka Lahanis to tee off Round 1 at the National Football Stadium.
